Researcher, Recruiting - Part Time

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:

Responsible for candidate sourcing, candidate research, direct sourcing and networking internally and externally.  Develop and maintain an exceptional talent pipeline in support of New York & Company’s current and proactive recruiting initiatives, focusing extensively on key positions in Design, Merchandising, IT and Finance.  Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists on the development of the Search Strategy for open positions.  Provide strategic candidate recommendations based on relevant market/industry data and trends. 

 

We are seeking someone to work Wednesday - Friday on a weekly basis, 8 hrs per day.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Researcher will supply Talent Acquisition Specialists with an ongoing and steady stream of qualified passive candidates for current job openings as well as future job openings for key positions. Identify, communicate and establish relationships with passive candidates in the areas of Design, Merchandising, Information Technology and Finance, with the goal of accelerating time-to-fill metrics.  Provide name generation from targeted companies on an ongoing basis.  Provide support to sustain high service levels to internal and external candidates and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.  Maintain absolute data integrity in the candidate database in order to ensure that all records are current and accurate.  Conduct candidate references, with the goal of deepening external network and developing future candidates. Responsible for candidate education verification, references, background security checks and some scheduling.

REQUIREMENTS:

· 1-2 Years as part of a high volume Corporate Recruiting team or

· 2-4 Years as part of a Retained or Temporary Search Firm recruiting team or

· 2-4 Years experience in Telemarketing/Sales

· Research experience including direct sourcing, cold calling and candidate development

· Complete command of all Microsoft Office Products

· Clear and precise verbal and written communication, including strong phone skills

· Detail, process and metric-oriented

· Prior experience working in a corporate business environment is strongly preferred
