Reset Team Lead - Lafayette

RESET TEAM LEAD



The primary focus of this position will be to lead and complete reset projects (both single and multi person teams) as assigned by the reset scheduler throughout the Lowe’s store.  This position is responsible for all aspects of project completion that includes safety, reporting, quality, and execution per the project instructions.



Primary Job Responsibilities:

▪ Walk the set and insure that all checklist tasks are completed per the reset instructions

▪ Walk the reset with Lowe’s store management and acquire store sign off

▪ Ensure that team members sign out and release team

▪ Reset plan-o-grams as agreed to with Lowe’s

▪ Report completion of reset work including pictures utilizing company provided PDA and camera equipment

▪ Ensure product area is clean and well maintained, according to vendor specifications

▪ If there are no resets required; you may be requested to perform routine service work in the Fashion Plumbing or Utility Lighting Department as requested by your District Manager if you are certified to complete work in these departments

▪ Complete periodic surveys, and report the results of those surveys

▪ Complete minor plan-o-gram changes, as required

▪ Participate in Special Events, as needed

▪ Work in new store openings and re-merchandising projects, as needed

▪ Understand vendor-specific product knowledge, and communicate that knowledge to Lowe’s personnel when requested

▪ Provide continuous courteous and professional customer service to vendors, Lowe’s personnel and Lowe’s customers



Position Requirements:

▪ 2-3 years experience working in retail/retail services environment

▪ Must be able to lead multi-person team and report project completion

▪ Reliable transportation and proof of valid drivers license and insurance a must

▪ Complete set of tools (including cordless drill and mallet)

▪ Ability to work flexible shifts and locations independently to meet deadlines and achieve results

▪ High School diploma or equivalent

▪ Must be computer literate

▪ Working knowledge of a PDA (Personal Data Assistant Device)

 

Territory: Position completes reset work throughout the Lafayette and Baton Rouge areas.

Tools Required: Basic hand tools required (Cordless Drill, etc.).

Cell Phone: Reset Team Leads are required to carry a cell phone to allow for in-store communication while reset is being performed.  Company will compensate for cell phone usage at a rate of $5.00 per pay period.



$16.00 - $18.00 per hr

(plus mileage reimbursement when applicable)
