Retail Accountant

A Retailer located in Bergen County, New Jersey is searching for a Retail Accountant with responsibilities as follows:

 

- Perform accounting functions for the monthly closing process

- Assemble and distribute monthly financial statements to upper management

- Involvement in budget/forecasting processes

- Prepare and review account analyses

- Government tax preparation and filings

- Liaison between stores and the retail accounting

- Significant involvement in year end audit

- Maintain monthly fixed assets schedules

 

Qualified candidates will possess:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

- 3+ years of related experience

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

- Good communication and organizational skills
