As a Retail Associate Client Director, you will be the main client contact as well as manage the daily activities of your team for a retailer or group of retailers. You are challenged with penetrating and growing the client(s) relationship while motivating your team to provide world-class client service on every client deliverable or request. You will drive entanglement within the client organization and optimize every opportunity to deliver measurable value to the clients bottom line business. Specific responsibilities include:Conduct capabilities overviews and industry trends presentations to demonstrate thought leadership and drive revenue opportunities with the clientPositively position Nielsen data methodologies and potential anomalies to client to ensure ongoing use and acceptance of Nielsen data in the clients overall businessConduct client product launch meetings that include vendor partners to promote vendor collaboration with retailerWork with your manager to develop account plans for your client(s) and communicate, implement and evaluate these plans in support of the clients strategic business objectivesLead needs assessment process at your clientFoster a team environment while providing timely and honest feedback/coaching to all direct reportsUtilize the suite of Nielsen products/services to present comprehensive solutions to client business opportunitiesAct as a consultant to your client, provide industry expertise, and drive continued value through Nielsen products and servicesIncrease return on coop by identifying and presenting new solutions to client in a compelling manner that persuades client to use cash or current cash coop paymentsAchieve or exceed all revenue and expense targets as assignedQualifications"7 years business experience in the Consumer Products Goods (CPG) industry with a Retailer, Manufacturer, Broker or Syndicated Data supplier"Advanced working knowledge of Nielsen products and services or other similar syndicated data to address and solve client business issues"A breadth of experience across Category Management, Brand Marketing, or Market Research functions"Previous leadership experience with a successful record of coaching and developing associates in a fast-paced, team environment"Strong analytical and consultative-selling skills with a proven track record of delivering value-added analytical insights to a client"Successful experience working effectively with multiple levels within an organization
