Retail District Manager - North Carolina and Virginia areas As a District Manager you are the leader of your business unit. You will provide the goals and vision for your managers and their teams, set the standards, be a daily example of the mission and values and recruit and develop talent to support the company's future growth. This position is best filled by dynamic leaders with can do attitudes, a drive for and proven record of results and a passion for building sales and developing people. Tractor Supply Company DM's are rewarded for results and actually do have a quality of life compared to their counterparts at the big box retailers. Responsibilities: •Achieve sales & profit plans for district. •Provide leadership and direction to 10-15 store managers and their teams of 10-15 each. •Hire and staff the best store management teams. •Effectively coordinate store operating activities. •Manage operating expenses and control shrink of 15-16,000 sku count per store. •Travel stores 4 to 4.5 days per week. Qualifications: •Two years + current multi-unit experience in hard lines retail environment. •Responsibility for $40M+ in multi-unit sales. •Oversee 10-15 store operating units •P&L, scheduling and payroll management. •Shrink control, sales initiatives and product merchandising. •Staffing, hiring and counseling. Candidates must have the ability to relocate within a region. Weekly travel throughout the district is required. Relocation assistance is provided.
