General Purpose of Position:Working with the Department Managers, the Store Manager, and any other Assistant Store Manager as part of the management team, the Merchandising Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all sales departments.  Responsibilities include executing merchandising plans, maintaining inventory levels, overseeing markdown compliance, controlling expenses and payroll budgets, and assisting in management of all areas of store operations as needed.   Merchandising Assistant Store Managers are also responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout the store.  An Assistant Store Manager is a role model and leader and must solve problems, make informed decisions and manage the workforce and time wisely in order to achieve maximum results.  Skills and Competencies:¨ Ability to develop and train workforce, build relationships, utilize skills of workforce most appropriately¨ Ability to merchandise effectively¨ Ability to provide outstanding customer service ¨ Ability to maintain a fair, consistent set of standards as they apply to workforce¨ Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment¨ Ability to maintain records and documentation pertaining to workforce¨ Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others, understand material, and provide instructions to Department Managers and associates¨ Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job  Company: Burlington Coat Factory Location: Yuma, AZ Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Relevant Work Experience: 2+ to 5 Years Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Company: Burlington Coat Factory Email: Apply by Email Reference Code: MERCH
