Job Description: Retail Planning Executives Location: Columbus, OH  Are you a creative problem solver with an exceptional retail analytical background? Do you have a high taste level and the ability to work closely with merchants to exceed goals?  Our Client, a multi unit, trend setting, specialty retailer is seeking high energy planning executives at all levels (assistant planner – director) to join their team to assist on in continuing their astronomical growth.   Job Responsibilities:  Work with merchants and designers to determine the correct items within a plan and create financial strategies that minimize risk and maximize profit. Create calculated and strategic financial plans down to the item level. Manage markdowns within a department. Work with merchants to manage SKUs to effectively plan a department. Job Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university REQUIRED Minimum 1 yr retail merchandise planning or buying. Excellent verifiable track record of  results Creative approach to problem solving. Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
