IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR MANAGEMENT:
Position Summary: Manages the operation of the assigned store; supervises the store employees. Responsible for the hiring, training and development of employees. Generates sales through their team, perform outstanding customer service, and manage within budget guidelines to maximize profits through sales goals and margin and expense control.
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain an atmosphere geared to achieving sales and profit goals.
• Analyze and review goal attainment and develop strategies to improve performance.
• Ensure staff is trained in customer service as established by the company.
• Ensure staff delivers consistent, excellent customer service in accordance with our standards.
• Resolve Customer issues and requests in an efficient and quick manner.
• Maintain a cohesive, cooperative work environment through team building and motivation.
• Recruit, hire and develop team members, and maintains an active candidate pool.
• Administer all training programs for selling skills, customer service, products, and operations.
• Maintain merchandising to corporate standards.
• Control all store expenses within budget guidelines
• Manage cash/asset loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Adhering to and setting the example for policies regarding customer service expectations, image and dress code and professional standards.
Requirements:
• Education: College degree preferred, a minimum grade 12 education or equivalence.
• Job-Related Skills: Previous experience in retail field preferred. Specialty store management backgrounds a plus. Proven sales history.
• Job-Related Experience: Five years retail experience, two – three years management experience required.
• Analytical / Interpretive Skills: Training and coaching new and existing employees and educating customers. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Embrace the company's corporate philosophy, core values, and operating principles.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Comfortable managing and supervising people. Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and deal with change.
• Additional qualities: A passion for cooking is a plus.
