Retail Store Manager/Assistant Manager

Bunnies by the Bay, a unique apparel and plush baby gift item company, has an opportunity for Retail Store Manager/Assistant Manager at our “store-within-a-store” in a New York City renowned toy store.

 

Job Description

Store management leads a team of employees in outstanding 24-carrot service for which Bunnies by the Bay is known.  Store management also leads overseeing the overall operation of the store.  Other responsibilities include supervising and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and merchandising product within the store.  Effective communication skills are also necessary in working successfully with BBTB corporate and the host store.

 

Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEnsure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping. Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock. Communicate with Bunnies by the Bay management. Communicate with host store management.

ExperienceProgressively responsible retail experience (3 yrs) Supervision (1 yr) Experience analyzing sales data College degree in business may substitute for portion of experience
