**This position is located in Charlotte,NC**Essential Functions The Essential Functions of the position are listed below. ¿ Maximizes the achievement of sales in multiple Facilities by providing comprehensive advice and assistance on enhancing the quality, efficiency, and productivity of operations, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitiv ¿ Develops, implements, and models Customer service standards for the Market that are aligned with Customer needs and expectations and Company goals. ¿ Develops, maintains, and champions community outreach programs to promote the Company¿s image, gain business opportunities, and achieve strategic initiatives by supporting community-sponsored events, encouraging Associates to participate in and support community activities, and incorporating ¿good neighbor¿ actions into business plans. ¿ Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing safety, operational, and quality assurance. ¿ Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates in multiple facilities by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, ensuring diversity awareness, and acting as a role model. ¿ Develops, recommends, and implements strategies for growing the business and reducing operating costs by analyzing Corporate long-term goals and objectives, business metrics, organizational strengths and weaknesses, technological advances, external trends, competitors, and Customer needs. ¿ Recommends business plans and budgetary allocations based on Wal-Mart, Region, Market, and Facility goals, including developing and administering policies and controls, evaluating and eliminating waste, expense, and unnecessary work, and improving systems Eligibility Requirements ¿ Meet applicable eligibility requirements (see PD-05). Minimum Qualifications ¿ High school diploma / G.E.D. equivalent; AND ¿ At least 6 years experience supervising Management Associates OR at least 4 years experience as a SuperCenter Store Manager.
