Safety Services Officer

Provide excellent customer service to Brand Headquarters, Store, and field
associates. You will be the communications center of Loss Prevention in a 24hour a day, 365 day a year environment. You will also be the first response team in the event of emergency such as fire, injury, or violence related situations, etc. This is a M-F 3:30pm - 12 midnight shift.


 


  • Control access to Brand headquarters.
• Lend assistance and document Loss Prevention incidents from the stores.
• Maintain parcel and courier service to NYBH
• Generate Access cards for the 5th & 9th floors.
• Provide first aid, CPR, or defibrillator toward stabilization under the "Good Samaritan" laws until EMT responds where needed.
• Coordinate use of conference rooms.
• Accommodate visitors to NYBH associates
• Monitor NYBH burglar alarm system as well as dispatch responders in store alarm situations.
• Flexible in scheduling to allow for 24/7 coverage of NYBH
• Ability to work weekdays and weekends
• Working knowledge of Windows operating system and MS Word & Excel applications.
• Excellent grammar and communications skills.
• NYS Guard Registry Certification required. (Will Provide)
• First Aid, CPR certification (Will provide)
EDUCATION:
• High school graduate. College preferred.
