Sales Administrator / Customer Service

The Photographic Research Organization (PRO) is the largest retail buying cooperative in the photographic industry with annual billings in excess of $120 million and growing. For 49 years PRO has been serving the needs of independent specialty retailers across the nation. We are currently seeking a candidate to fill the position of SALES ADMINISTRATOR.

As the SALES ADMINISTRATOR, you will play an important role in maintaining the communications link between PRO’s Connecticut headquarters and our nationwide network of retailer members.

The successful candidate must be creative, outgoing, self-motivated and must have exceptional communication and organizational skills. A sound working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), as well as the ability to conduct Internet research is required. Duties are varied with the opportunity to become involved in many facets of the company operations.

Some of the duties would include:
- Support for Sales Staff

- Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing programs
- Arrangements and support for off site meetings
- Support for trade show activities

- Daily order entry and tracking

- Preparing dealer mailings and communications

PRO offers an intimate office environment with excellent working hours and conditions. Compensation includes benefits and is market competitive based on experience. Applicants should be local to Fairfield/New Haven county in Connecticut. No relocation expenses will be paid.

This is an ideal ENTRY LEVEL position for the new graduate. Starting salary range is in the $34,000 - $40,000, depending on qualifications. Hours are 8:30 – 5:00 and health benefits are available.
