The position requires technical knowledge in terms of product, repairs, high-use parts application, as well as excellent communication skills to translate customer needs into Parts/Carry-in solutions. This position also requires the ability to exercise the appropriate level of persuasiveness needed to close the sale.Qualifications· Provide knowledgeable and courteous customer service· Attain personal sales goals through adherence to the customer enthusiasm selling process· Maximize selling potential of every transaction (add-on sales, accessories, and parts needed to complete the repair)· Professionally supports company profitability in selling Carry-in repair via the Carry-in process (pre-approval forms, customer tech. check sheets)· Knowledge of LCD & plasma products, surround sound systems, and digital cameras. Advanced knowledge of new technology needed to sell successfully· Knowledge of Brand Central, Home Improvement and Lawn & Garden, including sales skills and parts knowledge · Adhere to all company policies and procedures· Adhere to ISO standards and policies· Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the selling techniques of creating customer enthusiasm (Prepare, Relate, Discover, Advocate, Support and Close)· Demonstrate empowerment to ensure total customer satisfaction· Active owner of salesfloor merchandise presentation· Perform multiple duties, including but not limited to: cleaning, stocking, signing, shipping & receiving, and parts inventory control· Promote P.A. sales and the achievement of the P.A. sales standard· Maximize revenue opportunities· Perform miscellaneous duties as assignedExperience/Education Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred· Must be at least 18 years of age· Sales experience preferred· Customer service experience preferred· Industry parts sales preferred· Some technical school preferred· Experience and aptitude with computers and databases· Experience with point-of-sale systems · Knowledge of internet-based applications· Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check· Must be willing to submit to random drug testing, per company policyBenefitsStandard Sears Benefits Information:As a Sears associate, your career path options will be determined by your performance and your desire to advance further within the Sears organization.
