3 Days/Week, 24 hours/week, 1 hr lunch, 8-5

 

Co Description:

A-Z Bus Sales is the designated Blue Bird bus dealership for California.  We sell new & used buses and we also provide parts & services for them.  We have been in business since 1975 with 2 locations- Colton & Sacramento

 

Qualifications:

Communication skills, organized, self-directed, knowledge of and ability to use common business software, mechanical aptitude, work well with all types of people, flexible personality, and learns new tasks quickly.

 

Company Software: WordPerfect, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint.

 

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for the administrative portions of the vehicle sales process.  Duties will include assisting the sales staff with bid and proposal documents, preparing inter-departmental documentation, and maintaining files for same.  Coordinate and monitor pre-delivery activities and monitor the billing process.

 

Additional Duties:

 

Prepare factory bus orders with assistance from sales person.

Written and phone correspondence with bus manufacturers regarding orders and changes.

Written and phone correspondence with customer.

Customer service support to commercial customers, delegating/problem solving.

Prepare internal A-Z documents for bus orders.

Maintain files on new bus orders.

Oversee communication between A-Z and factory regarding orders along with the necessary backup of written documentation.

Communicate with shop to insure proper & timely completions of new bus shop jobs.

Receive incoming buses and check them against the order documents.

Assist in preparing basic proposals.  Assist in the preparations of bids.

Assist with preparation for state and local bus conventions. (Display materials)

Maintain vendor catalogs and pertinent information.  Maintain a bid record log.

Assist with follow up of leads.

Assist salesperson in providing and executing strategies for solving customer problems.

Track status of new bus production.  Assist in “seeding” customers.

Maintain a log on policy and promo charges.

Insure demo buses are in top condition and full of fuel when needed.

Organize & create pro-active solutions to meet customer needs.

Assist manager with weekly & monthly reports

Assist in updating web site.

 











Pre-Employment Screening and Drug Test:

Because you may be working with sensitive information, company vehicle use, invoicing and/or deposits you will be required to take and pass a background check including employment history, credit history, social security trace, driver record verification and criminal background search.  You will be required to take and pass a drug test prior to your first day of employment.  Random testing is also performed.
