Senior Analyst-Category Management-Retail Custom Design - Statement Custom Design

The Custom Design, Statement Custom Design senior analyst's job is to manage all Statement Custom Design orders ensuring their timely production and delivery. Partner with cross-functional teams to meet internal and external client expectations. Work with the Statement and Designer teams, Retail Custom Design Standard, Product Development, Supply Management, Gemstone Acquisition, Product Lifecycle Management. Partner with Manager and Director in establishing and effectively managing project timelines priorities and client expectations. Review each custom order based on established company product standards. Provide accurate price estimates based on department gross margin wedges. Provide pricing recommendations in line with margin objectives and like product. Create and maintain all RCD-SCD order files. Create and maintain developmental skus ensuring accuracy of item detail through Finished Goods process. Analyze and provide updates for all orders. Report on the status of each order and the final disposition. Prepare reports noting highlights and significant trends. Ensure accuracy of item data. Work with Client Development, TCO Japan, domestic and international retail management regarding Custom Design requests. Participate in weekly meetings Custom Design update meetings with Manager, Client Development representative and fellow CD team members to review all open projects. Work with all cross functional teams to meet internal and external customer expectations. Partner with Manufacturing, Receiving, ISS, and transportation for the timely delivery of RCD SCD orders. Support Manager with execution of departmental initiatives. Administrative tasks and other projects as needed to respond to business needs. Perform MIPS adjustments as needed.   Overall knowledge/experience in the workings of retail business practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) with adaptability to new software.  Must have strong analytical skills. Must be able to think strategically - then implement steps to achieve goals. Must have excellent organizational, communication and written skills. Ability to be flexible and adept to changing priorities (ability to multi-task is essential). Strong interpersonal skills - must be diplomatic. Undergraduate degree from an accredited University.  Comprehension of the product offered at Tiffany & Co. At least 2 years of retail experience, preferably with some store line experience. Knowledge of gross margin and turn calculations. Working knowledge of MIPS, APA, Essbase and JDEdwards.
