Senior Director, Wholesale Online Strategy & Marketing

Purpose and Scope: Lead the brand presentation and marketing strategy for Polo Ralph Lauren in the wholesale online channel. Liaise between our internal sales divisions, internal creative team and account partners. Responsibilities: Serve as key strategic liaison between Polo Ralph Lauren and wholesale online account partners. Primary point of strategic contact among all internal divisions at Polo Ralph Lauren. Lead strategic development of online marketing campaigns with all accounts; protect and promote the brand through the monitoring of marketing programs. Manage account compliance with established brand guidelines. Understand and be an advocate for user experience as it relates to the Polo Ralph Lauren brands online. Ensure that brand assets are delivered correctly and on time to account partners. Ensure that we stay current on competitive landscape, trends and issues for the wholesale online channel, including keeping apprised of industry-leading technology. Identify opportunities for joint efforts between brands in the wholesale ecommerce channel. Work in partnership with divisional marketing and sale leads to understand seasonal strategies and translate those to online plans. Develop and sell in online marketing plans by account based on growth opportunities, sales initiatives and competitive environment. Job Requirements: 6-10 years experience in marketing. 5 years online marketing experience required, including an understanding of key online concepts and programs such as: search engine marketing, online media planning & buying, affiliate marketing, email marketing, social media/Web 2.0, mobile marketing. Client service experience. Retail, apparel and/or luxury experience appreciated. Solid strategist experience in business and brand requirements. Polo Ralph Lauren is an equal opportunity employer.
