Weekends Only Furniture in St. Louis has a great opportunity for a Senior Merchandise Manager. This position is responsible for selection and buying of the upholstery category for five store locations in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Three of our locations are big-box stores.

Requirements
5 to 10 years previous buying experience with responsibilities for selection of products, turn, margins, sales volume, GMROI.

Ability to maintain satisfactory in-stock condition of all planned merchandise in the right amount, at the right time, and at the right price.

Proven experience in management and meeting company objectives and goals.

Excellent communication and negotiating skills.

Excellent math and analytical skills.

Ability to create a pricing system per margin plan that will maximize the sales and profit on each items while saving our customers money

Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
