SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER

This position will manage all aspects of style/probe development and sourcing for assigned departments and will be responsible for meeting departmental goals and objectives while maintaining consistent quality and style requirements of all brands. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for the determination of agent/vendor while maintaining a focused vendor base and competitive cost negotiation for the department. This position is also responsible for item selection into PLMON in order to meet merchandising calendar deadlines and will be accountable for having 100% of all proto samples for initial closing meetings.

Additional accountabilities include: managing sourcing for all direct imported; attending TD Handoff in conjunction with the buyer and design team to ensure that fit and styling details are maintained; overseeing the assistant/coordinator in probing/sourcing functions and in scheduled buyer and line review meetings; and attending scheduled meetings with buyers to review initial product line and to discuss target retail and margin goals.
 
To qualify, you must possess a College Degree and a minimum of 5-10 years of experience. International import sourcing experience; knowledge of costing, knowledge of specing, garment construction, fabric and production; and the ability to travel internationally and domestically are required. Strong managerial, organizational, problem solving, decision making, interpersonal, teamwork and computer skills are a must.
