Senior Staff International Tax Accountant

Senior Staff Int'l Tax Accountant-Palm Beach CountyPublicly Traded, strong company in south Florida is seeking a International Tax Accountant for their team.  The ideal candidate will have exposure to FAS 109 in addition to international tax accounting. Responsible for the provision of all areas of corporate tax. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparation of US tax forms related to foreign operations including Forms 5471; assist in planning and research of issues including international and domestic tax compliance; preparation of Federal and State income tax returns and premium tax returns; preparation of quarterly audits; and provide support to other financial areas. Responsible for the completion of outbound International tax compliance, International Tax research, International Tax planning and assists in domestic tax compliance for the Corporate Tax function. Serves as a liaison with International organizational components; establishes and maintains the working rapport necessary to develop cooperation and effectively integrate area services into the company's overall business fulfillment system. Remains abreast of developments in the field of international and domestic tax by pursuing a program of self development, participating in professional organizations, interacting with peers, reviewing pertinent literature, and similar activities. Incorporates advancements when practicable and cost effective.Qualifications/Requirements: Qualified candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting; Master in taxation preferred. 3-5 years of federal with 2 years of international tax experience in any industry.
