Location new york city, NYStatus Full Time, EmployeeJob Category Creative/Design Job Description Senior Technical Designer - Men's OVERVIEW: Provide technical expertise in product fit and construction standards to insure that Private Brand/Label product meets requirements.  KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:  Work with Product Manager/Design/Technical Designer to interpret the fit and construction of products designed by the Product Team. Responsible for ensuring product is produced according to timeline, cost, parameters, and specifications. Collaborate with overseas offices to resolve shipping issues. Manage group of Technical Designers to ensure proficiency and efficiency standards are being met. Interact with merchandiser and overseas offices to oversee product development. SKILLS SUMMARY: Expert in PDM and product standards. Ability to properly measure garments according to manual standards. Keen sense of urgency and attention to details. Working knowledge of PC operations, MS Office, Micrografx. Working knowledge of garment construction and pattern making. Excellent written and oral communications skills.
