Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and correcting problems related to the middleware and data components of application software. Participates in information protection and business continuity planning for hardware, software, and applications. This position is responsible for the daily support and operation of mission critical computer systems, applications, and/or networks.Primary Responsibilities include: First level of problem resolution for data related defects in Oracle Retail(RETEK), WebSphere Enterprise Server Bus, MQ, and DataMirror Monitor Oracle Retail (RETEK) modules, WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus, WebSphere MQ, and DataMirror. Analyze root cause and implement correction to data related defects Define and implement backup/restore processes and schedules. Perform data refresh, as needed, to support application development and testing Participate in the review, testing and deployment of the Oracle Retail application throughout the application’s lifecycle.
