We are looking for someone to provide superior customer service, operate cash registers to complete customer transactions, display merchandise and maintain a clean shopping area to maximize store appeal and assist in the Receiving department. Primary ResponsibilitiesWelcoming customers and answering customer questions regarding products and services, Helping customers make buying decisions; Operating cash registers to complete customer transactions; Displaying merchandise and maintaining a clean shopping area to maximize store appeal; Assisting in the receiving and of new merchandise from vendors; Preparing merchandise for the selling floor; Assisting in minimizing loss of company assets; Contributing to team efforts Preferred QualificationsPrior retail or customer service experience; Basic literacy and numerical skills; Demonstrated abilities to read, write and count; Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally; Should exhibit a strong customer centered focus and interest in working with people; Willingness to interact and cooperate in working with others; Detail oriented; Takes initiative, follows-through and completes tasks; Light physical effort required, Sitting, standing and walking will constitute 95% of a work shift, Kneeling and lifting various merchandise contents weighing 20lbs. Our BenefitsIn addition to competitive benefits and compensation, we offer a dynamic and friendly work environment where dedication and hard work are recognized and rewarded.
