Nouria Energy Corporation is a full-service gasoline and diesel fuel distributor and c-store operator for service stations in the New England region.  Its’ main headquarters are in Worcester, Massachusetts.  The company is expanding quickly in the branded fuels, unbranded fuels, c-store management and related segments.

 

Within company guidelines, be your own boss by learning the retail business and have full responsibility and the authority for managing a million dollar retail Convenience Store operation, Food Service, and Car Wash facility, including all aspects of retail management, personnel, merchandising, accounting, finance, community involvement, customer relations, and sales.

1.  Principle duties and Responsibilities

General Management

Insures that all image, customer service, security and human resource guidelines are met.

 

Timely and accurate reporting in the areas of accounting data, daily remittance of funds, credit cards, and required reports

 

Maintains profit structure, increases sales, reduces controllable expenses, and maximizes margin dollars

 

Minimizes employee turnover through proper communication, training, and by building strong teamwork.

 

Required to work 50 hours per week and expected to respond to double shifting, emergency situations, employee loss, and site hours requirements from the company.

 

24/7 station staffing responsibility

 

Operate a clean and professional retail operation meeting all image standards guidelines.

 

  Bookkeeping

Insures daily sales reporting into company proprietary computer system

 

Insures shift reports balance with daily sales reports

 

Performs mini audits as directed by company

 

Conducts competitive price surveys daily

 

  Security

  Ensures that all security procedures are enforced

 

  Follows procedures for counting and making deposits

 

  Insures cash levels at register are within guidelines

 

  Merchandising

Orders, receives, and maintains control for fuel, groceries, and store items

 

Maintains and executes promotions in accordance with company guidelines

 

  Maintenance

Insure all revenue generating equipment operating properly, i.e. pumps, coolers, car wash, store lighting, lottery, money order, and all other station equipment

 

Report any abnormalities to proper management

 

  Personnel

  Recruit, interview, and hires employees

 

Insures proper staffing, in store training, and employee development for optimum utilization of personnel

 

Conducts regular performance evaluations, coaching, and counseling of store employees

 

Insures all activities are within guidelines of company policies and procedures

 

Insures all hourly employees clock in and clock out and their time properly reported to payroll

 

Posts work schedule as per Company policy
