South Florida Area General Manager
As a Premium Retailer for Verizon Wireless, Cellular Center offers a dynamic, fast paced environment for sales and sales management professionals. This position will be based in South Florida.
Job Description
The Area General Manager manages multiple stores in a geographic area. Your role will be to provide an environment that promotes the ultimate customer experience; drive a high level of sales results and supervise staff. This position will require some active sales responsibility along with your employees.
This is an advanced Retail Management role where you will be responsible for the sales and financial results of the stores under your management. It’s an excellent opportunity to expand your retail management skills. You will also be responsible for developing an enthusiastic and professional sales team in your stores, conducting performance evaluations and motivating employees. In addition, you will be responsible for promoting the ultimate customer experience; maintaining merchandising and operations standards; meeting and exceeding service activation, accessory sales and enhanced services goals.
Qualifications
Excellent management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary. Previous active sales and/or sales management experience of a technical product. Previous experience in cellular sales is preferred.
An attention to detail and the ability to learn how to analyze sales data. Must be 18 years or older and have previous retail management experience. Willing and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. An associate or bachelor's degree and computer proficiency is preferred. Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are always desirable.
