Special Projects Rep (Merchandiser) - Clarksburg/Morgantown

SPECIAL PROJECTS REPRESENTATIVE

 

This position provides merchandising and related services for products offered for sale in the Utility Lighting Department (LTG) Departments within Lowe's Home Improvement Stores located in the area.

 

Job Description:

• The ability to deliver new product information

• An understanding of the departments overall goals

• The ability to handle minor resets and remerchandising projects

• The ability to travel large territories

• The ability to multi-task new assignments every other week

• A diverse work environment within the department

• The ability to perform PK’s and share your knowledge with Lowe’s employees

• Help manage the quality of work NVS provides to Lowe’s

 

Chosen applicants must be able to complete the following tasks:

• Any merchandise reset that is four hours or less in duration

• Audit Light Bulb cross merchandising, promotions and register tip programs and install if needed

• Audit POP placement, condition and order if needed

• All fixture repairs and electrical issues

• Ceiling fan maintenance above and beyond routine cleaning

• 5.3 orders and category management

• Host PK sessions as needed in support of Lowe’s training goals

• POG changes and recommendations

• Manage and complete any necessary buy-backs

• Support the analytic efforts for the merchandising team

• QA Audits throughout the department

 

Position Requirements:

• 2-3 years experience working in a Retail environment

• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and achieve results

• High school diploma, or equivalent

▪ Must be computer literate

▪ Working knowledge of a PDA (Personal Data Assistant Device)

• Must have reliable transportation and proof of valid insurance

 

Territory: One store in Clarksburg, one store in Buckhannon and two stores in Morgantown.

Tools Required: Basic hand tools (Cordless Drill, etc.)

Part-Time: 28-34 hours per wk.

 

$12.50-$13.00 per hr
