The Copy & Print Center is a top growth initiative for Staples. The Field Services area within Business Services is a key group ensuring communication and customer service are achieved at the highest levels. This position plays a significant role in driving accurate and timely communications to US Retail both internally in the Home Office and externally to stores and field leaders. While creating and implementing communications are core functions of this role, responsibilities also extend to assisting in the development of strategies to improve methodology of communications and customer service improvement. An ideal candidate for this position has experience in a retail environment, can both think at a high level and execute, is detail oriented and has the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Assist in development and implementation of Field Services strategy. Manage and execute Communication and Customer Service strategy for Business Services Assist in development of communication strategyWork with customer service to ensure analyze metricsWork with Business Services and Customer Service teams to ensure clear communication of programsMeasure and report on communication programs and customer service metrics Design timely actionable analysisCommunicate resultsAdjust strategy to ensure consistent improvementAssist in development of FY'08 Field Services strategy Partner cross functionally to build strong relationships and ensure flawless execution and consistency Store Communications Work towards continued improvement to communication methodologyEnsure timely, accurate and effective content of communicationsContinual process improvement to develop best in class communicationsField Management and Stores Partner with all levels to drive flawless execution of programsDevelop communication improvements from field feedbackEnsure constant feedback on communication and customer service programsMarketing Partner to ensure clarity and accuracy of content Create solutions for communication of marketing initiativesProvide guidance and support for communication methodologies of initiativesCustomer Service Ensure timely and accurate collection of customer service dataReport on customer service metricsCreate solutions to ensure Mystery Shop data is accurate and continually improvingSupport and implement overall Business Services strategy, objectives and tactics to drive initiatives. Partner with individual business owners to develop communication tacticsAssist in execution of tacticsCoordinate and drive execution of communication plans Qualifications Bachelor Degree required4 to 6 years related work experienceAbility to manage several tasks/projects at once; work independently, carry through all projects from start to finishStrong communication and interpersonal skills - ability to work well with different functional areas and manage various attributes between field and home officeStrategic thinker, self starter, team player, good communicator and able to work in a fast paced and changing environmentAbility to execute (computer literacy), understanding of retail customer and retail store environment, able to design and implement new procedures or programs.Ability to determine own priorities, work independently and possess strong analytical skills Apply
