This position is assigned one of four Divisions of Responsibility (DOR), which rotate on a regular basis (Human Resources, Merchandise, Operations and Business). The Senior Assistant Manager should be competent in each DOR prior to being considered for a Store Manager position. Position Requirements:·  Human Resources: Proven ability to recruit and develop others· Client Service: Ability to function as a role model, ensuring that the client remains the top priority· Organization: Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize, meet deadlines and follow-up on all activities within Division of Responsibility, and for store in Store Manager’s absence· Leadership: Ability to challenge and motivate associates in an atmosphere of mutual respect and with professionalism· Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement within Ann Taylor’s guidelines· Communication: Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills to Store Manager, Area Manager, District Manager/Director, Home Office and store associates· Business Analysis: Knowledge of store reports in order to maximize performance, drive volume, and react to trends in the business Educational Requirements and Experience:·  Minimum Requirements: Associates or Bachelors degree preferred· Minimum two years management experience in the service industry We offer a highly competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and a generous Associate Discount Program.
