STORE MANAGER:Christopher & Banks, a women’s specialty retailer, is seeking a Store Manager for the Oklahoma City (Quail Springs Mall) location.The Store Manager is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service and ensuring customers have an excellent experience while at the Christopher & Banks store.  The store manager has complete responsibility for all store functions which includes store operations, personnel, merchandising, and visual presentation. Essential Responsibilities Include:  • Regular and punctual attendance for all scheduled work hours.   • Manages day-to-day operations of store and personnel.   • Recruits, interviews and hires qualified personnel based on anticipated needs.   • Trains personnel in selling techniques, register procedures, visual skills, sale set-ups, straightening and store maintenance, etc.   • Coaches personnel on a regular basis. Reviews employees according to company   guidelines.  Performs documentation procedures efficiently.   • Resolves customer and employee issues quickly and effectively.   • Services customers, on sales floor and in fitting rooms, utilizing professional selling   techniques.   • Implements floor moves, sale set-ups, etc. in a timely manner. Maintains company   visual presentation standards.   • Implements and enforces all store operation procedures to control inventory.   • Operates POS register system with proficiency and ensures that E-Mail and other   functions are utilized properly.   • Ability to supervise and carry out day-to-day operations of store including stock,   sale set-up straightening, visual presentation and cleaning.   • Communicates regularly with District Manager.   • Trains/prepares Assistant Manager for management position.   • Ensures that all corporate office memos and instructions are read, properly   completed, and filed within the given time frame.   • Knowledgeable in personal and store’s statistics. Works toward achieving personal   and store goals.Other Functions of the Position Include:  • Provides District Manager with ways to continually improve business.   • Actively participates in mall meetings.   • Other duties as assigned by District Manager.  Position Qualifications:  • Expertise in customer service and selling.   • Prior retail management experience; preferably in the women's clothing industry.   • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.   • Ability to read, write and comprehend basic mathematics and instructions.   • Time management skills.   • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and use equipment such as hammers, ladders,   merchandising hardware and two-wheelers, etc.   • Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends, Sunday night   floorsets, before/after store hour meetings.Interested candidates, please send your resume and cover letter to:Janie Adkins Christopher & Banks District Manager jadkins@christopherandbanks.com Fax: (405) 302-0448We offer competitive compensation and an outstanding benefits package.
