General Description:

 

The Store Manager in Training position gets a seasoned manager trained and ready to become a lead member of management for an EZPAWN store.  The program is 90 days and once a candidate has successfully completed the program, they will then be placed into a store.The Store Manager is responsible for total store operations including profit maximization; loss and damage prevention to company and customer assets; providing outstanding customer service through sales and lending activities; approving subordinate Associates’ sales and lending activities; and complying with industry regulations and corporate policies. Maintains a professional and productive work environment. Oversees the hiring process, scheduling, supervision and development of all store associates.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides and promotes premier customer service through sales and lending activities. Ensures storewide compliance with industry regulations and company policy. Prevents loss or damage to company and customer assets. Ensures store is properly staffed, and associates are properly trained. Management responsibility for the operations of the business including P&L management, controlling the quality of all transactions and establishing daily/monthly goals that assist the team in achieving budget targets. Maintains a professional and productive work environment Effectively executes the sales process. Effectively executes the lending process. Effectively executes daily store opening and closing procedures. Supervises other store associates. Maximizes store profitability.

Job Requirements:

· Requires an Associate’s degree from an accredited college and 4 years of retail manager experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Pawn experience strongly preferred.

·Stable Work History.Demonstrated expert knowledge of retail, pawn, or payday loan business operations.

 Demonstrated responsibility for profit and loss of a retail organization with equivalent revenue.

 Demonstrated communication and interpersonal verbal and written skills

 Demonstrated retail-merchandising skills.

 Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.

 Demonstrated ability to use PC.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Requirements:

Must be able to obtain a pawnbroker license in states where required.

Required by federal law, Store Manager must be 21 years old or older for ATF licensing.

Driving record must meet EZ PAWN insurance standards
