Tuesday Morning, a growing retail chain that specializes in selling deeply discounted upscale home accessories and gifts has the following opening:

STORE MANAGER

In this leadership role you will have the opportunity to select, train and coach associates who will contribute to the success of the store. As a Store Manager you will be accountable for the day-to-day operation of the store which includes but is not limited to, receiving, stocking/displaying merchandise; coordination of staff and workload; inventory, cash handling, documentation, deposits, daily receipts; compiling reports; managing payroll; loss prevention; and compiling and enforcing all company policies, procedures and processes.

Candidate must be experienced in:

Big Box fast pace environment

Large sales volume retail

Supervision of large staff

Supervision of freight processing

Maintaining display standards

Motivating staff to achieve sales goals

Ability to achieve high levels of customer service.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a merchandising eye.

Able to set and maintain creative displays to help catch customers and grow the business.

Able to give clear concise direction in training associates.

Ability to lead by example.
Candidates must have strong initiative, enthusiasm, problem-solving skills and a
positive commitment to customer service. At least 1 year 'RECENT' retail management experience. Must be flexible including weekends, enjoy interaction with the public, and be able to comfortably lift up to 50lbs.
