Store Operations PRIMARY FUNCTION Responsible for the strategic direction and day to day maintenance of the Stores Workbench intranet site. Prioritizes and manages Information Management team projects and Specialists workload. Primary store support contact for TTS web and messaging teams responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing store intranet applications and content pages for stores. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Leads the Store Operations SRC Information Management team. Provides direction, support, and training for team members Establishes and models and Fast, Fun, and Friendly environment. Leads and develops team to provide world class services, support, and results. Balances and prioritizes workload and resources as necessary. Ensures all team members have solid project management skills. Cross trains Store Research Center team members as needed on best methods. Equips team members with information management knowledge to help develop them to be great communication consultants. 2. Manages stores intranet site, including home page and tab contents Responsible for the web content publishing process for all Store Operations content. Serves as the gatekeeper for all new content and application requests. Coordinates daily, weekly, and monthly updates to ensure content is timely and accurate. Meets and consults with key partners and TTS development teams to ensure Target Corporation intranet brand standards are maintained. Develops, maintains, and communicates key measures to key partners to ensure all Store Workbench content remains relevant for store team members. 3. Develops Information Management strategies Participates in ongoing visioning and process improvement activities, representing stores and headquarter needs equally. Keeps abreast of new applications, media, and technologies used to deliver information via the web. Provides guidance and direction on the use of these tools. Ensure that all new or changed Store Workbench sites and applications go through usability lab processes and testing to prior to their release. Ensures all Store Workbench projects are store ready prior to their release. 4. Develops store electronic messaging strategies delivered via Store Workbench Partners with TTS web and messaging team and Information Security teams to ensure Employee Relations and Sarbanes/Oxley compliance is maintained. Owns message board process and application end to end. Identifies opportunities and enhancements to support improvements in training and systems. Keeps teams focused on priorities. Create best methods; develop training strategy for both approvers and submitters. Ensures all messages are clear, concise and actionable. 5. Trains headquarter teams on key communication initiatives. Develops best methods and training for all Information Management processes. Trains all key clients on best methods. Provides training and consulting services as needed. Provides feedback and training to headquarter teams to ensure wins and opportunities on projects are identified and addressed. 6. Project management Manages all projects to budget. Establishes comprehensive project plans to ensure all deadlines are met. Establishes and follows roll-out and release schedules, communicates them as needed to key business partners. Maintains SRC project database for projects within area of responsibility. 7. Establishes strong partnerships and ensures great collaboration on all projects Collaborates with TTS and Store Operations teams as necessary to develop comprehensive communication and training strategies for all major rollouts. Partners extensively with all key client groups to ensure Information Management needs and priorities are aligned and supported. Ensures all key content and updates generated by the Information Management team is supplied to the all team members in the SRC and added to knowledge management systems where appropriate. Establishes strong store partnerships and contacts to consistently gather store feedback.
