We’re a leading consumer-driven footwear company and wholesale supplier of women’s fashion shoes to U.S. department stores under brand names like Naturalizer, Via Spiga, Franco Sarto and LifeStride. We’re a marketer and supplier of brand-name, private label and licensed footwear to department stores, mass-merchandisers, and independent and specialty stores.Position Accountabilities: Assures timely and accurate development, distribution, and implementation of all field communications including promotional and Key Event materials as well as clear visual presentation direction Assures effective development, implementation and continuous improvement of processes and programs to improve the planning process for the field Assures excellent service as an advocate for customers, store and field personnel in all projects and cross-functional teams, such that the needs and challenges of the field are represented Assures the LINK user Manuals/On-line manuals are a tool that can be easily utilized and understood by the fieldPosition Essential Functions: Manages the Monthly Task Planners and cross-functional planning of all activities involving the field organization Maintains the highest ethical standards to protect the company from inappropriate communication through the management of NewsFlash Establishes timelines and approval processes for all communication released to the field Works cross-functionally to generate plans for Key Events in the field Determines, organizes, and communicates merchandise flow Networks cross functionally to achieve alignment of strategies to deliver customer experience Interfaces professionally and proactively with people in all business units and at all levels of the organization representing the Retail Sales mission and policies Researches and writes content, including development of new materials and updating current materials for the Operations On-line ManualsPosition Specifications: Educational Preference: College degree with focus on writing, editing, or language skills Job Experience Preference: Store Management—retail environment Team skills Software/Hardware Experience Preference: Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, and PagemakerCommunication Skills
