Store Support Systems Specialist

We’re a leading consumer-driven footwear company and wholesale supplier of women’s fashion shoes to U.S. department stores under brand names like Naturalizer, Via Spiga, Franco Sarto and LifeStride. We’re a marketer and supplier of brand-name, private label and licensed footwear to department stores, mass-merchandisers, and independent and specialty stores.Position Accountabilities: Assures consistent streamlining of information delivery (reports, programs, and systems) to all levels of the field organization Assures successful implementation and maintenance of an easy-to-use Point of Sale System Assures timely and accurate answers for questions to field and home office personnel about retail systems and functionality Assures excellent service as an advocate for customers, store and field personnel in all projects and cross-functional teams, such that the needs and challenges of the field are representedPosition Essential Functions: Provides accurate set-up of and competent training for DSM and DRS laptops Partners with IS to troubleshoot for the field by working with the help desk and ensuring that problems are resolved according to urgency Communicates with the field and Headquarters on new or changing procedures Involves field personnel and Headquarters stake holders in testing the system and reviewing and updating training materials Gathers information from field personnel and Headquarters personnel about new or improved functionality that may be needed Reviews checklists and tests the laptop before it is sent to the end user (Field Management) Assists all functional areas with any project that impacts the field organization as it relates to the technology that supports the field organization Polls all areas of the company to develop and update the Quick Reference GuidePosition Specifications: Educational Preference: Job Experience Preference: Retail store experience is preferred Software/Hardware Experience Preference: Excel, Data WarehouseCommunication Skills
