Supply Chain Process Designer The Supply Chain Process Designer is responsible for the assessment, identification and development of internal best practices, development of standard processes & operating procedures within the Supply Chain. The Process Management Team is responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities, designing and implementing the improved processes within the Supply Chain Organization. The Supply Chain Process Designer will ensure that process controls are in place to monitor compliance and performance. The scope of the Process Management team will include the entire Supply Chain, managing and influencing change across the organization, and will work with external organizations to appropriately connect processes. The Process Designer will be assigned to key Supply Chain Initiatives, captaining development of the communication strategy, new process design and standard procedures, in order to ensure successful implementation. This position will align with key Supply Chain Management members to develop structured processes and assist in establishing and meeting goals and objectives. Position Requirements - 4-year college degree (Business/Logistics preferred). - 5 years business experience in one of the following areas: Process Management, Business Process Improvement, Project Management, Logistics, Transportation, Purchasing, Distribution Operations, Store Operations - Business Process Improvement Certification (Preferred) (Example – Six Sigma) - Effective leadership skills with the ability to lead in a management team environment - Effective listening and communication skills - Effective facilitation skills - Strong planning skills - Effective presentation skills, with the ability to make presentations to a diverse type of audience (Including Management, mid-level management, and business area team members) - Ability to determine Process Controls needed to support existing or improved processes Preferred Qualifications: - 3 – 5 years Supply Chain consulting experience (preferred). - 5 years Process Management Experience (Developing, Designing and Implementing Processes within the Supply Chain) For consideration, we strongly encourage you to apply on-line by visiting us at www.lowes.com/careers.
