As a Support Manager you will be encouraged to “run the business” and “be your own boss.” You will be responsible for all aspects of running the store. Our training department has implemented a program that will start you on your path to success. Many Modell’s associates have found that their hard work and dedication pays off with numerous opportunities for growth. Responsibilities·  Ability to uphold company standards and goals. ·  Adheres to all company merchandising standards throughout the building. ·  Utilizes all reports to drive business.·  Drives sales to maximize profit.·  Monitoring of the P&L statement.·  Follow all Human Resource and executes all Loss Prevention policies and procedures per company direction.·  Recruit, interview and conduct the new hire orientation.·  Train, supervise and motivate all store associates.·  Communicate all company directives with store associates.·  Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and responding to customer needs and market trends.·  Develops relationships with organizations to support company goal of becoming the hometown sporting goods store.·  Distribute and ensure completion of ad counts, markdowns and promotions.·  Conduct storewide meetings. Requirements·  College degree preferred or equivalent management experience.·  Experience in a retail or sporting goods environment preferred.·  Outstanding customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.·  Strong selling and leadership skills. Benefits·  Discount on Store Merchandise.·  Training program to set you up for success.·  Competitive salaries.·  Comprehensive benefit package.·  Management bonus program. Our Company Mission StatementModell’s is America’s oldest and largest family-owned sporting goods retailer.
