TechDepot Account Manager-Trumbull, CT

The Account Manager position is an inside sales position reporting to a Sales Manager and is the key contact between TechDepot and TechDepot customers.  The scope of this position is to manage and grow revenue and margin within defined geographical region consisting of 150-200 accounts within the Business, Government or Education sectors. This will be accomplished through duties and responsibilities described below and professional handling of all issues to ensure excellence in customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1.  Actively participates in training program entailing internal ordering systems, technical product comprehension, sales and negotiation training2.  Responsible for creating sales opportunities (upselling/cross selling) with customer base.3.  Responds to inquiries including but not limited to product, price, objections, and availability.  Working to increase the AOV (Average Order Value) of each order.4.  Quotes price and credit terms for orders obtained, estimates date of delivery, informs customers of anticipated delays.5.  Informs customers of features and benefits of TechDepot ( Account Management function/extranet availability/volume pricing opportunities)6.  Works with internal support function to responds to all customer service issues, including complaints, backorder chasing, and delivery information.7.   Performance Expectations:   -   Monthly demand revenue goals met or exceeded- Monthly margin attainment based upon graduated goals- Minimum of 50 outbound prospecting calls per day- Meets AOV (Average Order Value)goals on monthly basis- Monthly increase in conversion rate over previous month  Additional Duties and Responsibilities:  Professional attitude and behaviorExcellent Communication Skills both written and oralAttention to 100% customer satisfaction*Effective teamwork and consideration of othersHigh Degree of Organization and time management skillsBusiness casual attire Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
