Technical Design Intern

Assists Technical Designer Team with technical package with complete information regarding garment specifications and construction according to the New York and Company brand standards.
File paper work accurately
Organize fitting, pre-pro and TOP samples
Measure all the sample received before fitting session. Accuracy is key. Take fitting notes at fitting time
Enter fit comments and measured specs in PDM to report to vendors and factories.
Update and maintain charts and work status through Excel.
Illustrate pattern corrections by flat sketching.
Communicate daily with overseas factory, agents and offices to update and clarify specification packages.


Team player, wiliness to help others.
Working knowledge of PDM and strong PC skills.
Garment construction knowledge, a plus.
Participation in live model's fitting.
Organized and detail oriented, a fast learner.
Flat sketching ability, a plus.
Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
