STORE TECHNOLOGY MANAGER

 

REQUIRED RESULTS:Achievement of all assigned business plans objectives. Achievement of a supply of effectively trained associates that meet the stores business needs. Achievement of a high degree of excellence in full support and recognition of government and KMA Policies and Procedures. Achievement of well maintained filed records and reports.Achievement of a high degree of employee and community relations through Company and store initiatives. Achievement of a high degree of proficiency and expertise in all assigned technology job functions.

 

MAJOR ACTIVITIES:Select, and assist in the training and development of store personnel, utilizing Company training programs. Follow through on Company required permits, pre-screening checks, and results prior to hiring new associates. Plan and conduct in-depth new hire orientation meetings. Monitor and maintain a supply of employee uniforms.Maintain compliance with government and Company policies regarding the employment and scheduling of minors, and all associates. Maintain required associate personnel files, records, and reports. Insure completion, filing, monitoring, and timely submission (where applicable) of all paperwork associated with employee records; including change forms, LOA paperwork, separations, vacation schedules, absenteeism records, etc. Insure completion, monitoring, recording, and filing of all store paperwork associated with product recalls and customer requests. Insure accurate and timely completion, monitoring, and filing of all paperwork associated with store inventories for all departments to include; the inventory tracking ledgers, DSD Invoice logs, temperature logs, transfers Drug/GM event returns, and reclamation returns and other store reports as designated. Insure customer requests for donations or Company/Store involvement are handled quickly and efficiently. Interact with members of the local community in order to enhance a favorable image of the Kroger Company. Monitor and maintain a supply inventory. Know and follow all applicable Union contracts. Carry out assignments given by the Store Manager. Perform all functions, and maintain and monitor all required documentation associated with payroll including associate time records, logs, reports, and gross expense as specified by the Company’s policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Insure that a capable backup has been trained to perform all required time and attendance functions. Review associate time records weekly and follow up with associates to discuss and resolve existing opportunities. Investigate and resolve associate pay discrepancies and questions. Monitor and maintain associate communication bulletin boards. Insure proficient utilization of all technology programs at store level.
