Third Shift Manager

Large distribution center in Oakland County seeks a manager for its third shift. We are seeking a management professional who has a commitment to excellence, and has experience planning, controlling and organizing warehouse work loads. The candidate must be a people-oriented team player with proven leadership experience.

 Primary duties include managing the activities of our staff to meet and exceed our operating goals.

 Requirements:

 . Five to seven years of relevant experience.

. Proven leadership skills in training, safety, discipline, motivation, productivity improvement, quality/accuracy and sanitation.

. Basic PC skills (word/excel).

. Must be a dependable-self starter.

 Preferences:

 . Four year college degree preferred.

. Prior experience managing in a union environment preferred.

. Experience in productivity-improvement systems preferred.

 Compensation range is $45,000 to $55,000annually, plus excellent benefits package, including 401K savings plan.
