Training Technology Representative

We’re a leading consumer-driven footwear company and wholesale supplier of women’s fashion shoes to U.S. department stores under brand names like Naturalizer, Via Spiga, Franco Sarto and LifeStride. We’re a marketer and supplier of brand-name, private label and licensed footwear to department stores, mass-merchandisers, and independent and specialty stores.Position Accountabilities: Assures accurate training content within the e-learning system and other computer based learning programs that: Engages the learner Promotes self-paced learning Assures effective designs and consistency in the graphic design and packaging of internally created training materials Assures effective development and design of graphics/packaging for special projects as assignedPosition Essential Functions: Maintains current e-learning and computer based training programs: Communicates with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to ensure accurate information Researches, writes and updates content for new and existing modules Programs content using appropriate software Develops graphic elementsTests and troubleshoots programming Develops communication to field regarding updates Coordinates release of new/updated information Provides support to field Partners with IS to ensure timely maintenance and upkeep of the Learning Management System Researches new technology to enhance the learner’s experience and keeps abreast of new developments in e-learning Provides administrative support to entire training department as neededPosition Specifications: Educational Preference: High School diploma with computer experience Job Experience Preference: Web/e-learning design Software/Hardware Experience Preference: Web development software (i.e. Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML, Javascript) Graphic design software; Adobe Photoshop Familiarity with digital cameras and how to edit digital photographs using tools such as Adobe PhotoshopCommunication Skills
