The Traveling Beauty Specialist is a key partner in driving sales and profits by coaching and guiding Store Operations teams in alignment with business performance goals.  Responsible for ensuring execution of business directives through effective communications and follow-through between MP&D and Operations.  Will be a primary liaison and resource to drive onboard merchandise presentation strategies. Position Summary:

 

The Traveling Beauty Specialist will be responsible for driving sales results in the beauty lines and executing events on board the ships. This person will be responsible for providing leadership on merchandise and visual presentations and floor sets.  In addition this person will manage sales recap reports to the Beauty Team. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:This person will plan sales goals, itineraries and events on board ships. While onboard ships this person must successfully execute events, seminars and must have knowledge of the product in order to properly execute presentations of merchandise.  Must be capable to Instruct & train in methods and procedures. Facilitate ship board and port beauty training. Keep up with all of the latest selling and merchandise trends and communicates company’s initiatives.  Coordinate training schedules to reach all associates on the front line at the appropriate intervals as staffing turns. Implements solutions that result in a motivating, high producing work environment.

 

 

 

 Job Skills Required:Proficiency in presenting leadership and sales training programs. Ability to effectively coach and guide sales teams. Excellent communication skills to include proven listening, written and verbal skills. The ability to organize, plan and schedule multiple tasks. Full understanding of techniques to enhance the customer service philosophy and procedures within a large organization. Ability to travel up on ships up to 75%.

Requirements:2 – 4 Years training/beauty-counter management/retail sales experience.
