Link web site business strategy to user needs in an effective setting, using an understanding of usability best practices and analytics. Responsible for the experiences associated with all Walgreens.com user segmentation groups, including; product, pharmacy, photo, health information and company, assuring web site is intuitive to the appropriate user and the online experience produces desired and successful results. Consult in developing and utilizing site personas. Use these personas while testing and developing the customer experience to assure web site direction satisfies the needs of the customer. Assigned tasks will be strategic as well as hands on, from a project’s definition phase through all phases of the design and implementation process. All work will result in tangible documentation to be utilized by design, technical and quality assurance teams, including process flows and page schematics.Walgreen Co. is the leading U.S. drugstore chain in sales and technology use. Participate in project discovery, definition of business requirements and development of use cases, with direct responsibility for the organization of site content, navigation and page flows. Assist in the creation and implementation of one-on-one usability studies, interview questionnaires and finding reports that include actionable items. Create wireframes detailing page layout and content prominence for use by visual designers, copywriters, site builders and developers in building the interface. Maintain a working knowledge of web site processes and workflow and suggest improvements and changes as needed. Help conduct focus groups in order to test concepts when developing schematics for site processes and enhancements. Create and maintain a wireframe/template library for all web site pages. Develop site maps and process flow diagrams. Collaborate with all project team members (business owners, visual designers, copywriters, site builders and developers) to ensure the development of a consistent and effective user experience. Utilize usability-related research services, theories and methodology to support strategies and directions. Work with visual design team and site builders to translate wireframes into prototypes and complete visual compositions.Qualifications:BA/BS required. Behavioral Science, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Interface Design or related majors preferred. Minimum 2 years wireframe development; page flow and schematic development; concept, process and usability testing and documentation. Strong analytic, research, and fundamental design and creative thinking skills. Self motivated, detail oriented, ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment. Proficiency in Visio or similar program, Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office..
