VISUAL MERCHANDISING SUPERVISOR

We are looking for a visionary to lead the charge of bringing our brand and merchandise to life at our Flagship store in Freeport, ME. As the visual team leader of our 90,000 sq. ft. specialty retail location, you will head up the creation and implementation of floor sets and fixture plans at our bustling Main Street location. In collaboration with our home office, you will ensure all plans meet presentation standards and consistently represent the LL Bean brand.

 

You have demonstrated experience in visual merchandising, an aptitude for both designing and implementing visual strategies and strong creative presentation skills. Your communication and organization skills will help you in negotiating seasonal transitions and implementing corporate initiatives from the director of visual presentation. These will include sales or promotional events, swing shops, common areas, windows and all interior activations. Providing the visual team with consistent visual guidelines, communication and clear directives, you will create outdoor lifestyle presentations that drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

A retail professional, you shop the competition regularly and look for inspiration beyond our four walls. You lead with enthusiasm and have a background of developing people through coaching, mentoring and the identification of development opportunities. A bachelor’s degree in design, merchandising or retail management is preferred along with advanced skills in Word, Excel and Autocad.
