Vice President Visual Creative

Create and execute point of sale marketing, client relationship marketing (direct mail), television, and print campaigns that will support the Express Brand, product launches, and key gift giving holidays.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the artistic translation of the Brand strategy into creative, fashion-oriented and Brand-right marketing.
• Direct creative execution of point-of-sale marketing, client relationship marketing, labeling, and packaging.
• Partner with creative team members to develop concepts for advertising and positioning for new products and collections.
• Develop and execute brand right concepts and positioning for product launches and marketing events.
• Develop and execute concepts for television and print advertising.
• Present and recommend campaign ideas to EVP Marketing, and leadership team.
• Execute advertising concepts in partnership with EVP, Marketing.
• Present creative concepts and strategies to leadership.
• Translate merchant strategies into creative marketing strategies.
• Work closely with Visual Merchandising team to develop appropriate in-store communication strategies. Integrate written communications with display and graphics vehicles.
• Work closely with merchant group to understand product collections and sub-brands.
• Direct photo shoots.
• Collaborate with producer to book models, photographers and other talent and negotiate related fees.
• Provide creative direction, where requested, for internal special events and projects.
• Coordinate between functional groups to ensure integrated Brand marketing.
• Stay abreast of the latest fashion and technology trends.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with strategic marketing group to ensure strategic alignment and effective marketing materials.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven track record in development of strategic brand advertising a must.
• 7-10 years experience in directing the creative process.
• Experience with high profile fashion/beauty/retail brands preferred.
• Ability to contribute to product positioning strategies.
• Experience in developing targeted brand loyalty direct mail campaigns.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to lead and inspire other creative talent to get to great work, and continually elevate the brand image.
