Vice President of Operations

An established and growing supermarket chain in the northeast U.S. is seeking a Regional VP of Operations for their company. Qualified candidates will have a 5 to 10 year history of multi-unit, high-volume supermarket operations and have a thorough knowledge of how to drive sales in a highly competitive, over-stored market. Duties will be to:  Direct the assigned regional retail supermarket operations toward the attainment of all corporate financial and operational objectives. Assist in the development of both long and short term corporate retail operating budgets. Ensure the proper implementation of all corporate merchandising programs relating to retail operating units. Ensure the support of all retail operation policies, procedures, and standard practices. Ensure all customer service activities are directed toward the attainment of corporate objectives.   Ensure compliance with all Government regulations as they apply to the company's retail units as assigned. Ensure the proper level of staffing is maintained to achieve all corporate objectives in the assigned retail markets. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
