Visual Merchandising Coordinator

Landry’s Restaurants, Inc., a leader in the casual dining restaurant industry, owns and operates casual dining restaurants including, Landry’s Seafood House, Willie G’s, Aquarium, Rainforest Cafe, Charley’s Crab, Chart House, the Crab House, the Kemah Boardwalk and Saltgrass Steakhouse to name a few.  Landry’s Restaurants, Inc. has an open position for a Visual Merchandising Coordinator in our Retail Department at our Corporate Headquarters in the Galleria area of Houston, TX.  As we continue to grow, we need high caliber, experienced individuals to join our organization.  If your skills and talents are a match for our needs, we can open the door to career opportunities.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:  The qualified candidate will ensure the integrity of the Company brand by leading Retail Managers in developing strategies to deliver well-merchandised, visually engaged, brand appropriate stores.  Resolves merchandising challenges based on store size, store type, volume, and inventory, and provides training to the concepts and Retail Management teams.  Conducts store visits to ensure understanding, compliance, and execution of merchandising and visual standards.  Reviews business strategies with Retail Operations to identify and maximize business opportunities.   Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience in retail management, including visual merchandising and presentation skills, in a Retail or Corporate environment.  Bachelor’s Degree in Retail Merchandising or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be willing to travel, including overnight stays.  Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals; demonstrates strong leadership abilities with problem analysis and decision-making skills.  Listens carefully and has the ability to perform as a team member.
