Visual Merchandising Executive

The company is a successful, national apparel retail chain based in the Northern NJ/NYC Metro area.

The role of the Visual Merchandising Executive is to ensure that the company's merchandising presentations are consistent and representative of the brand image.Develop visual strategies and plans that support the brand image Direct set-up and coordination of the visual environments that support brand image and the customer experience Communicate regularly with Field leadership in order to ensure training and implementation of visual  merchandising strategies in each individual store and adherence to the visual calendar Work collaboratively to strategize, communicate and execute merchandising plans for new store openings and redesigns Plan and implement signage programs in conjunction with the merchandising plan Visit stores regularly and provide written summary including recommendations 

You should meet the following qualifications:

7-10 years of Visual management experience at the corporate level

3-5 years of managing a group

experience with creation of corporate visual merchandising standards manual

experience training field personnel on implementing visual guidelines

excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 

ability to keep up with fashion styles and visual trends

demonstrated successful leadership experience

focus on the customer experience 

Regular travel required
