Web Application Developer

The Web Application Developerwill be responsible for designing and implementing software for severale-commerce web sites. S/he will be responsible for designing new consumer webapplications and maintaining existing applications. The ideal candidate forthis position is very strong on front-end (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and back-endweb application development (PHP, MySQL), and has experience developing largescale web applications running on multiple servers.

 

Specific Duties:

1. Design, implementand test web applications using HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and AJAX techniques.

2. Create test planfor new applications and manage testing with other employees.

3. Ensure that newapplications and features are fully tested and deployed to all the applicableweb sites.

 

Experience:

1. At least 3-5years of Web application development

2. Client side webapplication development with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and AJAX

3. Server side webapplication development with PHP and MySQL

4. Experience developinglarge-scale web applications running on multiple servers

5. Experience in ane-commerce company a plus

6. Minimum educationlevel = BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred

 

Knowledge, Ability, Skills

1. Languages: JavaScript,HTML, SQL, PHP, CSS

2. Software: CVS,Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator experience is helpful

3. Excellentorganizational skills and attention to detail - ability to prioritize demandsand multitask to complete daily objectives.
