EOE.SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the sales promotion of Invesco Aim Retail products to a wide audience - including broker dealers, banks, insurance companies, and other service providers. Sales and promotion efforts can be throughout the U.S. with primary responsibilities for covering specific sales/regional offices to increase assets and market share of Invesco Aim Products.PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Follows-up on existing producers and continuing production within this group of selling brokers2. Opening new firms by calling on both the top and branch office levels. 3. Acts as a communicator to all key firms within a particular geographic region to be sure that the sales management ofthe firm is informed as to the current changes in Invesco Aim products, new products that are added to our family of funds, and sales promotion programs that Invesco Aim is offering in their area. 4. Works with Regional Sales Manager to develop an assigned territory of offices/clients. Based on customer needs, designs a systematic business plan to expand sales.5. Activities supporting the above functions include broker sales meetings, public seminars with existing clients, one on one sales activates with key brokers.6. Works closely with assigned Marketing Specialist in promoting Invesco Aim products.7. Works closely with fund managers in order to gain full understanding of the fund and its benefit to the client.8. Responsible for abiding by all rules of compliance, especially the clearance of material used in the field.9. The image and actions with outside broker-dealers are key aspects. Conduct and quality of presentation must always be at very high levels.10. Works with Regional Sales Manager, National Accounts and Internal Wholesalers to implement a territory business plan that will expand Invesco Aim's current market share and overall visibility.11. Communicates regularly with Financial Advisors by personal visits and phone/email to ensure that their needs are being met and they are up to date and familiar with our products. Works with Regional and National Sales Managers, National Accounts, and Internal Wholesalers to resolve any account problems that may arise.12. Prepares and delivers product presentations to both internal and external audiences.13. Represents Invesco Aim at industry conferences and meetings.14. Works effectively with internal staff, including operations and product management, to promote the success of the Invesco Aim product line.SKILLS: Presentation, communication (verbal and written) and selling skills, particularly in a consultative, relationship manner. Must also demonstrate initiative and the ability to implement and follow through on business plans and sales strategies. The ability to succeed in team environment is critical. Interpersonal skills required for communicating up to ninety percent of the work time with clients. Excellent analytical and organizational skills required to determine the needs of the advisors while communicating product information, and time management skills required in order to effectively meet the needs of the territories(s).WORKING CONDITIONS: Frequent travel required. WORK EXPERIENCE: Five or more years of field Wholesaling experience is required.EDUCATION/TRAINING: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles as acquired through the successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred.LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION: NASD 7 and 65 or 66 required.
