Description of position
The eForms Middleware Administrator is primarily responsible for the smooth operation of the LiquidOffice solution. This person is responsible for maintenance of the development, test, and production environments. Additionally, the eForms Middleware Administrator is responsible for coordinating operations and migrating forms from development through testing, and ultimately into production. The eForms Middleware Administrator will have a value-add project hours goal of 80%.
Daily tasks and responsibilities
This position is responsible for monitoring system performance, manage system users, manage system scaling, maintain basic database lookups and exports, apply system updates, deployment of new forms, review logs, and provide support for hardware and system related issues.
Qualifications
• 1 – 3 years experience in a system administration position, installing and configuring applications in a windows environment.
• Must be proficient and know their way around both PCs and servers in a multi-platform environment.
• Must be able to respond to crisis situations in a methodical way and prioritize work in line with business needs.
• Must be able to pick up new technologies quickly and maybe without the aid of formal training.
• Experience dealing with time constraints and strict deadlines on a routine basis.
• Ability to effectively perform all levels of testing (unit, system and integration testing) of applications.
• Ability in identifying system issues and solutions and effectively communicate them to management
• Work independently, with minimal direction.
• Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must have strong work ethic.
• Must be available to work as needed to honor project commitments and meet deadlines (nights and weekends and pager support).
• Detail oriented and possess strong problem solving skills, with ability to analyze a situation
• Must be able to get work accomplished through peers.
• Willing to take ownership of all assigned task
• Must be able to troubleshoot and correct any assigned problem.
• Able to work independently to overcome obstacles

• Experience in setup and configuration of WebSphere, LDAP, and Apache web server a plus
